About the instructor

Paul liaw is an acclaimed Senior Modeler currently working at ILM. He has worked at nearly 40 companies in various fields including commercials, TV, film, medical, games, academia, 2D, and 3D printing. Paul's outstanding work has earned him the following awards: ZBrush Central's Top Row; Visual Effects Society awards for Outstanding Visual Effects, Outstanding Animated Character, and Outstanding FX & Simulation Animation in a Commercial; as well as the Cannes VFX Golden Lion. In addition to his CG talents, Paul also has a strong passion for teaching. He regularly coaches professionals and students on modeling techniques and career building, and proactively helps them find work.
