Mastering the face is one of the hardest things to accomplish. Though we've been looking at the face all our life we've never looked at it with an artists eye. We need to learn how to see the bone, dicepher the muscles from the fat and discover the crucial roll that cartlidge and ligaments have in creating the features of our face.
In this course, I'll teach you to organize the propotions of the face into a few simple rules. We'll learn to understand the planes of the face and how those planes translate into forms. We'll learn how to prioritize clean, clear form over what we think we "see". We'll do all of this by working through the problems in a structured and guided way over the course of 2.5 days in Laguna Beach.
Start Date: February 24th, Friday 6pm
End Date: February 26th, Sunday 5pm
Duration: 2.5 days
